About ME
I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Design/Bachelor of Business at Griffith University, majoring in Visual Communication and Marketing. I’m passionate about creating design that not only looks visually engaging but also communicates clearly and connects with the intended audience.
I enjoy connecting with others and naturally thrive in social and collaborative environments. Working in teams allows me to share ideas, learn from different perspectives, and contribute to creative outcomes that are both thoughtful and effective. I bring a positive and open mindset into group settings, valuing clear communication and transparency in the way I work. At the same time, I can work just as effectively independently, managing my time well and staying focused to deliver strong results. I’m able to get fully immersed in my projects, paying close attention to detail and maintaining a high standard of work.
My combined studies in design and marketing allow me to approach projects with both creativity and strategic thinking. I’m always looking to grow, refine my skills, and create work that is purposeful, engaging, and meaningful.

Artefacts
I have good commutation and collaborative skills, as demonstrated through my contribution to the Click Cluck Buckle Up advertising campaign, nicknamed “Kassandra.” For this project, a team was selected consisting of Amy, Alyssa, and myself. Although we had limited experience working together beforehand, we quickly built a strong working relationship. We were tasked with designing one billboard in three different sizes that would be displayed across Queensland. Over several months, we collaborated closely, sharing ideas, dividing responsibilities, and supporting one another to meet the project requirements. Clear and consistent communication was essential, both within our group and with Re:act, the organisation that provided us with this opportunity. I developed my communication skills by actively listening, contributing ideas, and responding to feedback. I also strengthened my teamwork skills by cooperating with others, staying organised, and ensuring tasks were completed on time.

Fast learner
This artefact demonstrates my ability to quickly learn and apply new skills, particularly within industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite. Throughout my studies, I have independently developed proficiency in programs including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, using a combination of tutorials, experimentation, and project-based learning. I am confident in adapting to new software environments and enjoy the process of building technical capability over time. This willingness to learn has allowed me to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of my design work. I approach new tools with curiosity and persistence, ensuring I understand not only how to use them, but how to apply them strategically. As a result, I am able to produce work that is both visually engaging and professionally executed, while continuing to expand my skill set in response to evolving industry expectations.
